Concrete Staining

Color That Runs Deep

Permanent, penetrating color that transforms plain gray slabs into warm, variegated floors full of character — no peeling, no fading.

Two Ways to Add Color

We offer both methods and will recommend the best fit for your slab and desired look.

Acid Stain

A chemical reaction between metallic salts and the lime in your concrete creates permanent, variegated color with a natural stone-like appearance. No two floors look the same.

  • Rich earth tones: browns, copper, amber, terra cotta
  • Chemical bond — won't peel, chip, or fade
  • Marbled, translucent visual depth
  • Best on older, well-cured concrete

Water-Based Stain

A broader color palette with more predictable results. Water-based stains penetrate the concrete surface and can be layered for custom effects.

  • Vibrant blues, greens, reds, blacks, and more
  • More uniform coverage than acid stain
  • Can be layered and combined for custom colors
  • Works on new and old concrete equally well
